I plan on going to disneyworld in september 2005, my daughter will be turning 3 years old on the second day of our 5 day trip, do I need to buy her a park pass?

No you will not. Disney policy bases the admission of your child as of the day you check into the resort. Therefore your child would not require admission media during your trip.
